Krista Blondin’s tribute career began in 2003 with the debut of Piece of My Heart at the award-winning Tim Hortons Southside Shuffle. Since then, she has performed at major events and venues across Canada and beyond, including blues and arts festivals, Canada’s largest fair—the Canadian National Exhibition—on both the Midway Stage and the iconic Bandshell, ribfests, wineries, breweries, and soft-seat theatres such as the Mississauga Living Arts Centre, Midland Cultural Centre, the historic Gayety Theatre in Collingwood, and the legendary Jeff Healey’s nightclub in Toronto.

Her career has taken her as far as the Ritz-Carlton in San Francisco for a Texas Roadhouse Sales Convention, which was even briefly featured on CNN. She also been taken the stage at Toronto’s Q107 Woodstock Anniversary and Halloween parties at the Sound Academy (now known as Rebel) and has performed at weddings and milestone celebrations for Janis Joplin fans. In addition, she was honoured to perform at Mississauga Legends Row, celebrating the induction of legendary bluesman Chuck Jackson of the Downchild Blues Band.

A sought-after act for Woodstock anniversaries, 1960s-themed shows, and tribute concerts, Krista has shared the stage with tribute artists honouring legends like Jimi Hendrix, Santana, CCR, CSNY, Joe Cocker, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Cher, Ray Charles, Neil Diamond, and Jerry Lee Lewis. She pairs seamlessly with tributes to ‘60s and ‘70s icons, powerhouse women in music, and blues, rock, and soul legends. She also collaborates with Tom Jones tribute artist Michael Theodore in Raise Your Hand, a show recreating the energy of Janis Joplin’s unforgettable performance with Tom Jones on his 1970s television show.
